What I took away from the event is there is certainly work to be done to shift some of the thinking (and the dollars) in the advertising industry to what can be accomplished through effective Sports Cause Marketing. It may not be right for all brands, but for those who embrace it - genuinely and consistently - it might just be that extra "tenth of a second" that gets them across the finish line first.
