Please consider donating to Team Inspiring Soles as I race in the Rev3 Ironman Distance Triathlon at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio on September 12, 2010 to benefit Girls With Sole. Girls With Sole is a non-profit organization that uses fitness and wellness to empower the minds, bodies and souls of girls who have experienced abuse of any kind and who are at risk. (ie: Bullying, Neglect, Dating Violence, Verbal, Physical and Sexual Abuse to name a few.)

Sports and fitness serve as: an outlet for emotions; a boost to self-confidence and self-esteem; and a learning tool to cope with adversity in a healthy manner. What better way to raise money for sports and fitness programs that help girls in our own community than a race in our community that tests an athlete's mental and physical toughness?! The race is a 2.4 mile Swim, 112 mile Bike and a 26.2 mile Run!

It is one of the most dynamic sporting events in the world, and inspires the souls of its competitors and spectators alike. To help a child experience the pride and confidence that only athletic achievement can bring.....that's Inspiring Soles!
